The EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) entered into application in its transitional phase on 2023 Q4, and the deadline for the first reporting is on 31st January 2024.

If you import material or castings from outside EU, you are now subject to the CBAM regulation and you must first declare carbon emissions to customs and support a new carbon tax in a second step.
