CEIR supports one labelling scheme

Leading European Bathroom manufacturers, supported by their national and European trade bodies, agreed to move forward: they co-signed an industry letter pledging support for one labelling scheme.

European Bathroom manufacturers, representing the sanitaryware, faucet and valve sectors, collectively recognise the desire by the European Commission to have one product label across Europe for all water-using bathroom products.

This agreement results from last year’s discussions between key players of the European Bathroom Industry to develop a robust consumer-focused Labelling Scheme. It is a momentous step forward on the water and energy efficiency journey of labelling water and energy bathroom products. The development of this ONE Labelling Scheme will progress under the guidance of the newly formed European Bathroom Forum.
