CEIR Announces New Board for 2024-2026 and Welcomes New President

CEIR – Taps & Valves Europe is proud to announce the appointment of its new Board for the 2024-2026 term. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing President, Dr. Nurdan Yücel, for her exceptional commitment, tireless effort, and impactful work over the past two years.

During her tenure, Dr. Nurdan Yücel has successfully led CEIR – Taps & Valves Europe through a transformative period, ensuring the organization became more open, active and efficient. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing CEIR's mission through enhanced collaborations, educational initiatives, regulatory engagement and organizational growth.

The completion of her two-year term as CEIR President with the CEIR Congress in Bodrum marks a significant chapter in our history, and we honour her dedication and achievements. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Yücel's mandate as a Board Member has been renewed and she will continue to support CEIR with her invaluable experience.

We are delighted to introduce Pascal Vinzio as the new President of CEIR. Pascal Vinzio, currently the Vice President of External Affairs France at KSB, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role. His impressive career includes:

- Vice-president and director of Evolis,

- Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the French Federation of the Mechanical Industries (FIM Mecallians),

- Chairmanship roles in CETIM alongside his position on the Board of Directors and presidency of the Scientific and Technical Committee,

- Active membership in the Research and Innovation Committee of Elanova,

- Chairmanship of several technical standardization committees i.e. CEN/TC 69 - Industrial valves, CEN/TC 406 - Mechanical products - Ecodesign methodologies, and ISO/TC 153 - Valves,

- Long-standing Chair of CEIR's Technical Committee of Building and Industrial Valves (TC BIV).

Pascal is a graduate engineer from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) and from the Ecole Supérieure d' Electricité (SUPELEC). This will be his second presidency at CEIR, having previously served from 2015-2017. We are confident that his extensive expertise and vision will further CEIR's objectives and drive continued success.

Tom Reynolds, Chief Executive Officer, Bathroom Manufacturers Association, United Kingdom. previously 2nd  Vice President, was elected as 1st  Vice President. Tom brings a unique perspective from the world of sanitary taps to CEIR – Taps & Valves Europe and we are looking forward for continuous support and involvement in the leadership of the organisation.

Additionally, we extend a warm welcome to the new Board Members:

- Elena Fernandez – Managing Director, Spanish Association for Fluid Handling Solutions & Process Technologies - FLUIDEX, Spain,

- Jan SucksDorff – Senior Advisor, The Association of Finnish Technical Traders, Finland.

And we congratulate for their mandate renewal:

- Marco Caleffi – Chairman and Managing Director, Caleffi S.p.A, Italy. Valves Europe,

- Bengt Henricson – Industry Developer, VVS Fabrikanternas Råd, Sweden,

- Klaus Schneider – Managing Director of Laufen, Switzerland. Europe,

- Carlos Velazquez– Sustainability Director, Roca Group, Spain. Board Member.

 

We would like also to thank Per Romer Kofod from Veltek Denmark for all his support during the 2022 -2024 period of his mandate in the Board.
